Aromatherapy and Essential Oils
Aromatherapy promotes and protects health and heals ailments by using essential oils from flowers and plants.
You can use essential oils in various ways
Internal use
Although the internal use of essential oils can be very effective, we advise against experimenting on your own!
Thorough knowledge of the different oils is necessary. Therefore, only use them internally under the supervision of a therapist.
Internal use by children (under 6 years old) and pregnant women is strongly discouraged.
Never take more than 2 drops, maximum 1 to 2 times a day.
Massage, bath, shower
Essential oils are ideally suited for use during a massage, a bath or a shower. They easily penetrate the skin and thus effectively exert their action.
Dilute them for this purpose in a vegetable oil such as almond or jojoba oil.Diffusion
Essential oils bring a pleasant scent into the room. Preferably use electric diffusers that do not heat the oils and diffuse them extremely finely.
Fifteen minutes of diffusion per hour is sufficient.
Inhalation
Inhale the oils to soothe and calm the throat and respiratory tract.
Pour 2 to 3 drops into a bowl of hot water and inhale the steam for 5 to 10 minutes.
